A Northeast Ohio 501(c)(3) Organization
Positive Acts of Kindness
The Positive Acts of Kindness aka (PAK), allows One Step Ahead Ohio to provide strategic donations to support local individuals, families & organizations within the community. These donations are facilitated to the community through PAK Day, PAK Hardship & PAK Partnership donations. The PAK initiative is constantly adapting to keep pace with the ever-changing needs of the local communities.

SnackPAK Backpacks
We are thrilled to share that our community of supporters continues to grow, enabling us to enhance our impact locally. Thanks to the success of the 4th Annual Golf Outing Fundraiser, where we set a goal to raise funds for 250 SnackPAK Backpacks, we surpassed expectations and were able to donate 325!
Each backpack was filled with essential supplies—crayons, markers, colored pencils, folders, glue sticks, baby wipes, tissues, and snacks
Over the years, Mrs. Patterson has undergone several back surgeries, and in 2023, she was
diagnosed with lung cancer. As part of her treatment, a portion of her lung was removed, and she now relies on oxygen. Since her diagnosis, she has faced multiple hospitalizations due to
pneumonia, sepsis, and other health complications. These conditions have left her in a constant
state of weakness, making walking extremely difficult.
To help this local Trumbull County family, we donated a wheel chair ramp to help Mr. Patterson care for his wife!
Joining forces for a PAK Partnership at the 4th Annual March Forward Fundraising Event showed the massive impact local like-minded organizations make when they come together!
OSAO set a goal in December of 2023 to raise $10,000 for this organization. Given the response from sponsors, donors as well as local supporters, we were able to collectively hit this donation goal for April 2024. Our donation will provide 275 well-child exams for local Northeast Ohio children who utilize their service & facility.

Over the Years...
Melissa, a faculty member from Ashtabula County Technical & Career Campus (A-Tech), reached out to us for support in helping her launch a new initiative at the school called the "Comfort Zone." The goal of this initiative is to create a designated space where students can access winter clothing at no cost if they are in need.
To help get the program started, OSAO donated 125 pairs of gloves, 125 pairs of socks, and 125 long-sleeve thermals. A message on the wall in the classroom reads, "Take what you need, give what you can," reflecting the spirit of the initiative.
